We all know Stacy’s Mom but the rest of this album is a really solid power-pop record that I think deserves more recognition. RIP Adam Schlesinger.

maybe this is an obvious rec, idk! not only is this my favorite bruce song but i think it’s one of the best songs of all time. a few years ago i actually wrote a screenplay loosely inspired by it lol
“Linger” and “Dead Flowers” are the almost the same song, to me. Perfect album I feel dumb for always forgetting about and then it’s just about the only thing on.
I’ve been trying to watch Spike Lee’s “Girl 6“ for literal years and I finally got to watch it on this website. They’ve got a ton of rare, out of print, or otherwise hard to find movies available online.
Not a perfect movie by any means but every time I watch it I feel better haha. The song WILL get stuck in your head for a few days without fail. It’s available on Hulu now.
