This is very much a personal preference thing, and I know you’re attempting to make this platform more integrated with the PI interviews, but because the home landing page is just the interview on the full screen on your phone when you first go on, meaning its the same for the entire length of that being the newest one, I find myself going on the app less. before when the homepage was familiar faces and constantly changing hot recs I felt incentivised to go on the app more, now I often open it, see the same pic that’s been there the whole day, and just close it again. this is great for my screen time, but maybe less great when you’re trying to build users and subscribers? (It is probably important to note that I have adhd so my attention may work differently to others).
just changed it on the app and website to show “hot” first
also added rising users - anyone who signed up within the last 2 weeks and is up and coming on the site
will add more leaderboard-y stuff soon :)
TL;DR it shows you the everyone feed on the left and curated/top posts on the right much much better imo - it's always showing you the latest posts and you can still see what's hot, rising users, staff picks, etc, and the article isn't at the top anymore (i know that was bugging some of you) it's a true home base now, and leans further into the "social magazine" feel we're going for curious how you guys feel - do you like the chaotic vibe or would you prefer a more refined experience
