get you some app-operated light bulbs and set them to fade on instead of a noise alarm, or wake up with the sunrise. i remember all my dreams and my circadians are finally in rhythm 🥁 no bad mood mornings for me
I am about to start doing this, and I am so excited. Imagine a world in which you don't look at your phone as soon as you wake up. That world is possible...eeeeeeeeeee
It’s been helpful for me to sleep 10-6 every night. I also have a light that supposedly simulates the light of sunrise so I don’t wake up in a dark room.
Avoiding snoozing can be difficult! I use iPhone shortcuts to wake up to a different album each day of the week. I notice time passing as the songs change. And have a second alarm to wake me up 20 minutes later in case I doze.
Getting out of bed and moving, stretching, walking around for a few minutes, wakes me up, too.
I am not perfect at getting up, but these things do help!
You know the thing. That has been sitting in the basement or the garage or the closet. Maybe you have been meaning to fix it or use it again. Just throw it out.
