The one in Monterey Park is best, but there are a bunch of locations around LA and they've all been great in my opinion. Especially good restaurant for groups but good for a laidback date too. Somethings I've tried over time and really like:

Salt and Pepper anything, but especially the Pork Chop.
Any kind of greens fried with garlic
The best (lil) burger in the city. THEE best fries in the city (Duck Fat or gtfo). Twists on classic Chinese cocktails. Wu-Tang Tiger Style Ribs go brazy. A decade living here this was the only place that I took every friend/coworker/visitor. (Legit) classic hip-hop and kung-fu it’s like RZA became a restaurateur, and a good one.
