oklou's latest album "choke enough" came out a month ago and my growing emotional attachment to it has been growing each passing day
this entire live performance altered my brain chemistry and i am so enamoured by it.... it makes my soul levitate and comforts me so much....
especially when "blade bird" comes on.... ugh.... so beautiful!!!! the (figure skating) blade is in the bird amen....
the emotional intensity/attachment is probably heightened after michelle trachtenberg's passing and me crying 2 minutes into ice princess after hearing the news.... the live "blade bird" rendition with all the figure skaters reminds me so much of her in the movie and the performance is just so hauntingly beautiful!!!
this also makes me want to get back into ice skating...

I think I've bawled my eyes out to every track at this point for different reasons. not even exaggerating. once you think you're done with it you get hit with a brand new emotion and find new symbolism in the lyrics. and another painful feeling to unfurl and free yourself from. if I could get everyone to listen to an album this would be my pick
