🧽maybe i’m searching for more stable support in my life that isn’t disposable, but this is my fav solution so far.
keep 2 sponges & rags/towels in your kitchen: 1 for dishes (clean sponge/rag) and one for jobs you would reserve for paper towels (dirty job sponge/rag). that dirty job squad will save you so much money on pp towels. i also just get a kick out of saying, “dirty job sponge!” when ever i have to clean something up. i’m healing from a lot of childhood trauma around neglect… searching for any morsel of joy around cleaning/taking care of myself so i can to rewire some of these neural pathways. this has helped me :’)
i.e; i’ve spilled wet cat food on the floor and used my dirty sponge to scoop up the food and wipe the floor off. and then i use my dirty rag to wipe it dry. rinse your dirty sponge rag in the sink and you just cleaned your house with out generating landfill waste 🙂↕️
disclaimer: i do use pp towels in my bathroom when i clean the top of the toilet. das it tho.

I wake up thinking about my kindle. I take it everywhere with me. On the train? Reading my kindle. At the park? Reading my kindle. In bed at 8pm? Reading my kindle.
I also was sick of buying books that sucked and being stuck with an object that took up space so now if I love a book on my kindle I buy a physical copy. Expensive habit but worthwhile imo.

🔮Marissa is the it girl independent perfumer and her concepts are a breath of fresh air. She taps into nostalgia in the most beautifully creative ways and brings them to life flawlessly. I’m working with her on some scents for my own brand rn & couldn’t be more excited hehehe check her out asap.
