i can no longer gate keep this gem. next time you’re in toronto you have to check out banh mi vina - it’s a tiny shop on dundas and grove. it’s a literal hole in the wall so keep your eyes out for their sign or you might miss it. not only is it delicious but it’s cheap. ideal for hungover sundays and a midweek pick me up.
banh mi place in prospect heights!!! their tofu banh mi sandwich is literally heavenly. the tofu is so fluffy. i didn’t love their garden rolls personally but their non-veg rolls may be good. order ahead if ur picking up bc they can get super busy :)
also banhmigos in park slope!! their mushroom banh mi sandwich is good. i can’t remember which i liked better but the tofu and veg rolls are reallyyy good. also definitely get a bubble tea because they have sooo so many options! and their service is usually really fast!
