As the proud owner of a pedigreed pet rock, I’m tired of seeing the mistreatment they have to go through from other people. This is an old manual on how to take care of your pet rock, but I would say it’s pretty accurate to today’s pet rocks needs. It still stands. Please be conscious about the decision of getting a pet rock. If interested, you can acquire your pet rock here

So remember when everybody got puppies and kittens and whatever the fuck else during covid? Right, that happened, and it was great! Shelters were empty, homes were full of love. Then the world opened up and a lot of those folx went back to their jobs and decided that, while it was a cute instagrammable and tik tok moment for them, ultimately being a pet owner was so 2020 and just no longer their brand. So now, those animals are back in shelters, and shelters are full to the brim, you get it. Obviously don’t get an animal without thinking about the big picture of your life, it’s not for everybody nor is everybody in a place where they can take care for a furry friend. BUT if you can, do. It changed my life being a dog mom. Gives me purpose and a great excuse to leave parties and get out of bed in the morning.

look, i'm a cat person through and through, and honestly the sheer amount of work involved in owning an axolotl or any other kind of exotic pet breaks me out into a cold sweat..but every night just before i go to sleep i read this forum for literal hours and absolutely delight in it. there's a whole hierarchy to axolotl care and the best posts are the ones asking questions about a potentially sick lotl (see, i'm even using the lingo), because it's where the exotic pet snobs really come out to play. something else to look out for: lots of smol bean talk.
