Physical magazines and displaying them is a lost art !! There are some beautiful magazine covers out there, they need to be appreciated and read.

Why are magazines not talked about more. I would say they're a dead art form, but they're not. There are so many cool and innovative magazines out there right now. My favorites are The Face and Homme Girls. It's so amazing how they capture, physically on print, a moment in time with culture, music, fashion, and media. Yes, we have social media to document everything, but social media is so passive. Also, magazines get your eyes off the screen and look great as decor. Don't just put them on your coffee table! READ THEM!

In a way, print is only dead IF WE LET IT BE. Just bought the latest issue of Beauty Papers at casa. The look of a fashion story or market spread in digital will never compare to that of print!

Having physical things is just nice. Going analog with articles has a much more personal feel and there’s nothing like having a goated coffee table collection.

If you played an instrument when younger, I 100% recommend owning it when you’re older. I took Flute lessons all my school years and stopped after graduating. Now I’m older, I‘m really grateful for them. Also, appreciate the instrument much more without the pressure to learn and progress. Musical instruments are incredible hobbies, gorgeous, and it’s never too late to start learning !!

I love doing this! Outside seating at a cafe / restaurant / bar and just being. Take a moment to sonder. Watching others experience life and go about their day. Coffee or wine in one hand, cigarette in the other - it’s amazing.

Time passing, days turning and years passing, is a reminder to be present. You won’t remember or be able to write everything down to every detail. You can’t always remember how the birds sounded that one day, how that coffee really made that day better or be able to capture how that river or mountain truly made you truly feel. Coping with the passage of time is to practice being present, in those moments thinking to yourself “be present, enjoy this as it’s happening” & being grateful for it.
