Every Saturday, my hubby and I treat ourselves to a visit to Merz Apothecary in Chicago to splurge on soaps. Our basket usually ends up with an assortment of 5 to 10 soaps (sometimes 15) from different countries. Our favorites? Caswell Massey's almond soap, Nesti Dante's Romantica Florentine Rose and Peony soap, and Zador's Paprika.

My skin has been much happier since I started using soap from Herbaria a couple years ago. I use this soap in the shower and even started using their shampoo bars for my hair.
Plus, they have dope scents.

it’s cheap, smells delightful, is homemade and supports a small family farm. i personally don’t make this soap but i buy it all the time

My all-time favorite film is Satoshi Kon’s Perfect Blue. No other movie goes deep into avatars, alter egos, and the unraveling of one’s identity after stepping into the dark side of entertainment quite like this one. It’s beautiful and incredibly dark. It feels especially relevant in today’s digital age.
