You can send an angry email or you can leave some chocolates and a note at their door. what is the most likely to work?? I feel like we underestimate how being nice can actually help

granted that this rec comes with a lot of privilege, I find that usually when I level with a customer service rep, are kind to them/understanding of their obligations, and just ask for what I want explicitly, people tend to just go with it. there‘s got to be some kind of psychology behind the phrase “now I know you probably can’t do x given y or z, but I figured I would try my luck.“

I was always told that if I don’t have anything nice to say I shouldn’t say anything at all but I think it should be officially recommended that if you do have something nice to say, say it! A heartfelt compliment that is in your brain will cost you nothing to give the person to whom it’s due and might change their day for the better! Take notice of others and be specific with your kindness. Such an easy way to make yourself a happier person!

my phone broke and I was broke. so I had to go though 2 months of no phone. I have never been so peaceful. I now know the route to get to places (because I had no maps). Got the habit of only replying to texts at 6:30pm and make plans for the next day at that time. I read so many books and was so notinfluenced by social media. Even the things I was eating changed a lot, no more fast meals you can make in less then 5 min, instead I asked my grandma what to cook and guys it’s awesome. BREAK YOUR PHONE

Getting to the checkout and realizing that the price on the shelf was wrong and you actually don't think the real price is worth it, but the cashier is looking at you.
