i want to kiss julio's brain SO bad. i loved everything: the theatrics, ale's fantastical way of processing information, the toy concepts, the perseverance of inherently artistic dreamers, the colors, tilda swinton etc etc etc. and it's sooo relatable to me, as a latina who once dreamed of emigrating, and the child of protective parents π couldn't recommend it enough
i fell in love with this man when i saw Los Espookys on HBO
he is so weird, so funny, and so creative
i had been waiting to watch it since last year but the writers strike happened (purr)
and finally seeing it- it was even better than i thought it would be
and i am excited to see him have his show Fantasmas on HBO coming soon
he is a great filmmaker
i love her so much. i feel like she is so good at encapsulating the beauty of all the people she shoots, and i love the filter she uses on her photos so much ! π€
