most public libraries have access to a few academic databases, and from there you can find countless fabulous examples of literary criticism and analysis. some of my fave journals that might be relevant to what you’re looking for are Angelaki, College Literature, American Literary History, Journal of Modern Literature. when in doubt, search for a book title in the database and see what pops up! happy reading πŸ’–

definitely a tear-jerker but visually one of the most beautiful films i've ever seen. the final club scene when 'under pressure' by bowie and queen is playing is engrained into my mind forever. it changed my perspective on life and had me bawling by the end credits. a film where silence is beautiful and heartbreaking. paul mescal also did such an incredible job in this.
