kind of like when an owner and their dog look like each other even if it’s a landscape we got Van Gogh, Egon Schiele, Dalí, Kiki Smith

maybe im just tipsy but i swear to god there is something so fascinating about the cyclical nature of art and life. this painting from eons ago PERFECTLY replicates the adjacent image. a jester and his court (no pun intended) also posting this assuming everyone who sees this knows the luka/dallas mavericks/nico harrison/lakers situation but if not i'll mansplain it right away <3

how sweet is it that two separate things can work in conjunction…a diptych …or triptych even.. that artists are always borrowing from each other…nothing is original anymore but there’s something so wonderfully human about that…….. number one double feature i’m enjoying recently is the picture of dorian gray and todd haynes’ velvet goldmine.. ……i💟art……

One of my most recent paintings. Sometimes I think I've gotten too familiar with my own face because of how much I use myself as a reference in my art. Kind of makes me wonder if most people really know what they look like.
