I took a trip to Queen Books today to cure the November blues, and it was the perfect antidote. Loved the book selection (unparalleled by any other shop in the city), the window display, the festive spirit.
The staff were so knowledgeable and gave me great holiday gift recommendations! I left with a full stack.

it’s been one month now since i’ve visited Edinburgh and this was one of my favourite places to go to <3 it’s so so cozy inside, especially if it’s cold outside, plus there are a lot of nice books and everything is so well organized!

In fact they’re working against you, especially women of colour. 84% of Tinder users are men, Bumble’s earnings have gone down hugely since its IPO (thereby further increasing their need to make a profit off subscriptions), Hinge is hiding hot people behind a paywall. People are sick of getting lovebombed and ghosted.
But we don’t need them—there’s more to life than apps—and people are beginning to seek connections in person again.
