Nothing like the great outdoors. When the world and the manic banality of city life really takes its toll, when GORP and OPULENCE and JAWNS leave you braindead, when you just don’t feel like yourself, the trees are there for you, silent and calm. Turn off your iPhone 12 mini, bring along the latest Sally Rooney spot, pitch a tent & listen to the bugs, baby.

Today I went to the local pond and sat for almost 3 hours, no phone, no book, nothing. It was the most incredible sensation ever, this immense tranquility and peace seized me and all of my worries dissipated, being around nature and hearing the sounds of life around is incomparable to anything & watching the water ripples as birds chirp and fly overhead in golden rays of sunshine cascading onto the green grass is ethereally divine. I think it’s closest thing to heaven.
