i've listened to this countless times, to the point where it's one of my most played songs on spotify, partly because i've fallen asleep to it. i much prefer it to the original song by 10cc, which is a classic, i know; but this cover is just sung more devastatingly, over a haunting instrumental, that combined, sounds like yearning. something i may or may not indulge inβ¦

Don't get me wrong, don't think you've got it made..." a golden nugget from 1975 that makes me feel like i'm mourning some lost love while floating in outer space. the synths and the layered vocal harmonies are so mesmerizing and the "be quiet, big boys don't cry" whisper tickles my spine whenever i listen to this song with my headphones on π
A sweet song that I always wish lasted longer. Often times when I hear it, I immediately need to replay it just to savour it a little longer. Makes me long for tenderness.
