why can i never find anything at the store anymore? and this goes for thrift stores too. Everything is made of bad materials, bad quality, and everything just looks weird? It sits weird on the body, nothing looks nice anymore. Like comparing the old juicy tracks and the new ones? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??? Why cant they make it the same way anymore, then that gets donated and the thrift stores get filled with shit clothing.

Go to a vintage store and feel the fabric, check the buttons and the seams, try it on. They will last you longer, wear better, and fit you well. You can hunt in thrift stores too, but I think it’s worth the cost to support a local business (as long as they’re not a crazy markup). The owners of those shops have done the work to find the quality stuff, including some incredible designer brands. To get the same level of tailoring and craftsmanship with new clothes today, you have to pay $$$$. Which can also be worth it if you really love the thing and want to support the designer. But tops from the 90’s and before are excellent. Unique patterns, weaves, softer and heavier material. They don't make them like they used to, collect them while you still can.

Tell me why the construction and stitching and longevity of these pieces is literally better than a lot of real clothing now AND it’s cuter… they don’t make them like they used to folks

i started going to the cinema by myself last year and its the best thing ever. I dont know why it scared me so much to do things alone, however doing things solo actually made my social anxiety better. I love just hanging out by myself now; going to the cinema; a nature walk; solo study date at a cafe. Doing things alone will heal something in you

its just a voice constantly processing and reacting to my perceptions and emotions, answering and asking my brain different things. I also picture things like when i read or when im figuring out what to wear i can visualize it in my head if that makes sense? do other people not see things when they read? or when they think about something specific?
