i couldn't find a record player that i loved, so i designed one

this is not promotional in the slightest, just imagine there are a lot of design fans on here. i was quite surprised by how technically challenging it was to design a turntable that looks chic, sounds great and doesn't cost $1,000+ to produce... but after months of work, we were able to figure it out. 🙃

i'm sorry but the hipsters were right - they really hit different. the hyper-intentionality of having to actually get your fucking ass out of your chair and manually pick a vibe for the current moment. the way it neatly segments whatever activity you're doing into 20-22 minute chunks. the way its imperfections make the experience of a given album wholly unique to your particular setup. the way the cases are so big that they can be tiny little posters. great stuff all around
