!!!!!! Ok so Weezer is my all-time favorite band and the Blue Album is my all-time favorite album. Earlier this year I got the insane opportunity to contribute some merch designs to the Blue Album’s 30th anniversary collection!!! And my shirts just arrived in the mail!!! Here’s one of the shirts I designed (my favorite) ❤️ Designing for Weezer was always a huge life goal of mine and I still can’t believe I’m able to check it off
I have far too many but out of my collection this is probably my favorite. This is a Weezer shirt from around 2001 or 2002, not sure the specific year. I’m a huge weezer fan and this shirt was my holy grail. I was super lucky to find it in my size and under $100 a few years ago (googled this shirt and saw it as expensive as $225 😵💫) As a merch designer who has designed quite a few things for weezer at this point I’d love to 1) make a shirt this iconic and/or 2) somehow recreate or reference it if I work with them again. I think the dorky pun and the lettering just perfectly say what weezer’s all about
I’m a merchandise designer for bands and my small dream is to see someone I don’t know wearing something I designed, even better if it’s not at that band’s concert. Not sure whether I would say anything to them about it or just keep it to myself
I’ve been trying to watch Spike Lee’s “Girl 6“ for literal years and I finally got to watch it on this website. They’ve got a ton of rare, out of print, or otherwise hard to find movies available online.
Earrings, hair clips, etc. with built in ear plugs for concerts or other loud events. I’ve used these at the last 3 concerts I’ve been to and they’re great. I don’t really have to think about it too much outside of making sure I wear them before I leave. This is my hair clip one but tbh I prefer the earrings. Both are great!! There are a ton of really cute styles and I lowkey wanna buy them all
