surprisingly one of my favorite natalie portman movies! it did well in box office but i feel like it’s overlooked enough to be in this. centers around a professional hitman who takes in a 12 year old girl after her family is killed by a corrupt DEA agent. it’s pretty cute

'babygirl' has been out for two weeks, criterion channel is doing a nicole kidman retrospective... nicole kidman is IN in 2025! i love to see a fellow gemini get her flowers...
i just watched MARGOT AT THE WEDDING (what a weird, uncomfortable movie) and earlier last year watched her in lulu wang' series EXPATS.

my mom was all over this show when she was younger and she begs me to watch it with her all the time. she thinks i‘m just like rory but i can’t tell if that’s a good or bad thing!! 😓 one day i’ll get dedicated and binge watch it.

i know that this song is sad, but it’s absolutely beautiful and i don’t think anything could be done to make it any better than its studio release. thom yorke is singing about obsession of someone that doesn’t even notice them. every set of lyrics is devastatingly creative and raw to where you can hear every element of the piece at once. i’ve always especially loved “i’m a moth who just wants to share your light/i’m just an insect trying to get out of the night” just before the song hits you with the intensity that sounds just like the feeling of truly needing somebody else. always been a die-hard fan of this song as well as the rest of the album, will never skip a single track

i love the original but buckley has such a beautiful voice, his cover is so raw and gutwrenching especially knowing his story. so sad but he brings this song a whole new life
