Very under-appreciated film. Watching it feels like going on a vacation. It also makes one wonder like Ichiko, “How much of my life is lived for the sake of other people’s expectations?” The road to self-actualization is long and non-linear, but it’s worth traversing.
Watched this last night while slurping ramen over my couch and it was a 10/10 experience. This docu about a video store in NYC and this obsessive guy following the movies all the way to Sicily just make for an inspirational story of love for the art in the time of digital cholera.

My first time seeing them live. Thought the place was gonna be packed with Turkish people since their music is Anatolian psychedelic rock and they mostly cover Turkish folk, but it was mostly Norwegian people which made it even more fun. Also this was before their vocalist Merve Daşdemir left the group, it will Never be the same, but check them out if you haven’t already.
