Finally got around to printing off a bunch of the essays and articles that I had saved on my computer for a while. I find it makes it easier to get myself to actually get around to reading some of the stuff. Paper is also a nicer reading experience, with less distractions and eye strain.

I like to read while I eat (and annotating makes it easier for me to read in the first place with my dyslexia) so printing out stuff I'd otherwise be reading on my phone has been a really nice new habit. Can't get distracted and I also get to see my initual thoughts later! (Are.na has a lot of free pdfs btw!)

i've always been a paper guy. i think it just helps me think through what i'm reading if i'm reacting to it in a separate place.

My desk is cluttered with loose paper full of notes on books and articles and Wikipedia pages I read and half-read. writing down the things that stick with me helps me commit them to memory, and knowing things is nice, especially when the information isnโ€™t particularly applicable in my every day lifeโ€ฆ

Any pi.fyi rec (by someone else, not yourself) that you saw and then acted on yourself - read the book, listened to the album, watched the movie, tried the activity, etc.

A platform for designing and hosting your own webpages with HTML, inspired of course by Geocities. I used it to make my own pretty basic webpage: https://kiranlgill.neocities.org/. For an example of all the stuff you can do on it, see: https://odditycommoddity.neocities.org/

Has a massive array of weird old art and articles about weird old art. Has a 'shop' section, just like a real museum. https://publicdomainreview.org/
