There’s no greater comfort than eating really crappy holiday cookies either at holiday work parties and at home. Of course most of them are really bad, but they hit the spot after the sun goes down around 5 pm.

Having freshly baked cookies on hand can get one out of a lot of tight spots in a pinch, even if it’s just to soak up the alcohol in your stomach when you’re riding the subway home at 3 A.M ❤️ It’s fun to give them out to the people you meet during the course of the night, and lets potential suitors know that you’re Domestically Gifted ™️, Extremely Nice ™️, and Supremely Fuckable ™️. I did this two nights ago and it felt much less scary meeting new people when I had cookies to offer them.
