Hate it when people don't plan. Like we get there spontaneously and that's the day that's closed or something. Good hangouts require a certain amount of planning for it to be good. If a person says "we'll see" regarding something we are supposed to do that day, I just know is not getting done.
As a chronic planner who needs to have things laid out AT LEAST a week beforehand, sometimes you need to let go of scheduling and say yes to going out and hanging with friends.
i stopped initiating and asking first to hang, but when somebody reaches out i always end up planning the hang. its always me who asks when where and who, how will we get there, overall just planning ahead. i know if i dont plan it, it will never ever happen
I like planning. I enjoy arranging activities to do with my friends and working out details. But it's only fun when the friend also plans sometimes. It has to be a little give and take. I don't have energy to be pouring on people who take it personally when I ask them to choose an activity.
