I went to a Suki Waterhouse concert with my gf and we had a blast. We’re both Suki fans but she likes music more on the pop side and I like heavier stuff like punk and heavy metal. So, I went to the concert excited for Suki and expecting another “pop-y sounding” opener, but then Bully got on stage. If I had to describe how they were live, I’d say that they are a mix of Sonic Youth and Paramore. They play fast, aggresive, and screaming, which I very much enjoy. The singer had an amazing voice — both singing and screaming — and played some aggresive riffs on the guitar. The bassist played mostly power chords, which made their sound much fuller and heavier. The guitarist harmonized and dissonanced with the singer’s guitar to add flavor to the music. And the drummer did what punk drummers are supposed to do — he played fast. I was blown away and instantly became a fan. Bought some merch to support them and have been listening to them ever since. Suki was great too but that was expected lol

Just saw them live. They are incredible. Angry girl punk rock. The vocal control on the lead singer (Missy) is insane. Higggghhhllyyy recommend. They r touring this year, mostly in the USA. Do urself a favour and go experience their music live.

speaking of solo concerts, i went to The Beths last night for the second time this year and wow, they are truly one of my favorite bands ever. Australian indie rock band with an incredible show both times. tight tight TIGHT band. danced my shit off, incredible guitar lines, the whole band sings backup vocals while they play, it’s unreal. feels like driving 95 down a highway or running as fast as you can until you fall straight into a body of water. feels like the most charming and poignant ways to sing about a breakup. feels like I LOVE LIVE MUSIC!!! ran into a friend at the show who told me they found The Beths through a playlist i made and got hooked. made my night. maybe you will be next

My gf got me this Canon FTQL and I‘ve been practicing taking pictures on 35mm film! Don’t know how it’s gonna turn out but I’m excited just to practice taking the pics and learning about photography!!

Hayley Williams’ quarantine project is a blessing to us all. The album is beautiful and completely homemade, which makes it even more incredible. Production is great, her voice is amazing, and it’s — almost — a one-woman show (she had people help her with some parts but still…)
