there is a twice a year record show in my area, and I was just thinking about it because I was looking through my records, and my god I just love it. just a bunch of people selling their records informally. Iโve gotten so many good deals on old and obscure records from that. I found one of my favorite albums that way. and the people are such a hoot. I love it so!

Was out and about today and decided to check out my local record shop. Never have I walked into a place with such a strong vibe.
The two workers were talking about percussion quality on a specific album while I was thumbing through countless shelves of vinyls.
When I asked one of them for recommendations, they asked what I listened to and gave me a few suggestions based off of that. Super cool, great conversations. I'm new to this hobby, but damn is it cool thusfar

re: spending too much money on vacation
although sometimes emptying your wallet on records can remind u that u are a cool person that likes cool music and has been influenced by cool people once upon a time. worth it? probably!

Sometimes, if my cat really wants my attention, heโll grab my leg loosely and bite me, where it hurts for a bit but leaves no mark nor blood. Itโs not quite fun- but I think it serves a meaningful place in life
