Really great for whenever you want to keep track of a section so you can return to it later. Think of some little passage that could stand on its own or an important explanation/definition in a dense philosophical text. Also good for showing yourself and all your intellectual inferiors that you have read the book and done so in a very smart and intellectual way too. Multicolored ones are the best kind obvi. Really wished I’d had these guys when I was reading Infinite Jest.
using them to keep track of literally everything! reminders, flashcards for class, goals/affirmations, lists, etc
i put them all over my wall as visual reminders and it might look a little bit crazy but honestly I like the pop of color haha
the yellow post-it…. chic…. classic…. timeless…. the ease of whipping one off the pile and placing it somewhere else…. i’ve been going through packs like crazy since starting my new job. a new illustrator shortcut? post-it. got assigned 14 new designs to send to mockup and i want to make a list of them? post-it. i need a reminder to not smash my head through the monitor? post-it. i don’t care how tiny i have to write i can fit it on a post-it. and yellow is the best color
i don’t like writing on books directly but if i plan to revisit one / use it as a source in some kind of writing project i will aggressively annotate on adhesive paper; it feels like a happy medium between the two for me, and if i’m using at as a source removing the annotations as i go along is a fun little progress marker
Tisa has no fuckin ceiling dog. The range on this thing is absurd, but totally consistent (I do skip the song with TiaCorine every time tho because fuck the Steelers). His music just always brings a smile to my face. I don’t think it would be wrong to describe his attitude as a form of New Sincerity. But fr how the hell u silly with no laughter???
