rabidwell every so often I read rumors that another round of his books are going to be published. If that ever does happen, it'll be really interesting to see if they hold up to the current canon.

Franny & ZOOEY by j.D.Salinger
A short one that found me just over 2 years ago now and I think of often. The conversations between characters is what I appreciated the most. When I think of it, I remember it more as a film because of how clearly I could see it all unfolding. Like I was there in each room, not just an observer.

I don’t believe in ranking things- restaurants, albums, books, movies, athletes anything, top x lists whatever. I think it’s a waste of time honestly. Even with a completely objective criterion what’s the point. Would rather listen to and read people just talk about their favorite things and why they are special and meaningful to them- everyone has their own, interesting reasons. And this is a great place to do that!
