heat up a tablespoon of honey, squeeze some lemon juice (or lime juice, either work) and add a dash of salt. mix all of that together and drink it like a little health shot, but be sure that the honey has cooled down so you don’t burn your taste buds away cause honey can reach very fucking hot temps real quick. this is a home remedy my fam has been doing since i was a kid for when you have a sore throat, so hopefully this can help soothe your tonsils!

growing up the number one drink to soothe the throat (and help with dry cough) at home was a cup of hot water, a tablespoon of molasses, and a tablespoon of honey… can add lemon if you want too!!! not sure if it actually works wonders or is at this point a placebo due to nostalgia but it’s my go to

or even just a spoonful of honey, but make sure it’s the proper kind. And if that fails, gargle salt water

Aimee is a cake baker in Brooklyn who makes the most gorgeous and delicious sounding cakes I’ve ever seen. I have been aware of her cakes for a while but I ultimately fell in love with Aimee France The Person when the TikTok algorithm served me her vlogmas series. I swear her daily vlogs were the only things keeping me going through last December. She is cool as hell and I love to see what she’s up to. I have not yet had the honor of trying one of her cakes but I’m hoping to get to one of her mini cake pop-ups soon.
