i just got home from seeing bad nerves at the regent in la and it was one of the best shows i’ve been to in a while... we made it to barricade which was fun and i got kicked in the head by someone crowdsurfing which made me feel young again (im 25 lol) if you like fast-paced garage punk with good catchy melodies, you neeeed to check out bad nerves
people used to combine emo and power pop. and it was incredible. anthony green from saosin/circa survive/etc is in this band, but there’s also a female vocalist. perfect springtime music
i’ve had cartoon darkness (amyl and the sniffers) and stay golden (combat) on repeat while i was traveling and needed some loud music. shoutout t_failz for showing me combat, 100% one of the best 5th wave emo bands out there right now.
i’ve done this platonically and romantically recently. and both seem to be working out. i love talking on the phone. we should all talk on the phone more often
if you love a really famous musician or a major studio movie, you can probably find some bizarre promotional item on the internet. they’re often too rare to purchase. but i DID just order a set of madonna russian nesting dolls from the music era, so it can be done
