answered the phone at work and was immediately berated by some karen. i was professional, but refused to let it slide. so right as she was trying to get off the phone, i said, “one more thing: i understand you were frustrated, but you cannot yell at me while i’m at work.” she tried to turn it around and say EYE yelled at HER, which was just A LIE. like idk if that lil trick works on her husband, but it wasn’t working on me. held my ground, and even though she didn’t apologize, i could tell she was shook getting off the phone. i guess people don’t correct her very often. so happy i didn’t let her get away with it. fuck that bitch, but also: a little commotion for the self-respect!
