Listened to this whole album while driving back to my hometown—every song fucks on some level but this track in particular goes hard when you're passing cars at 85 mph careening towards high school memories
what do you mean im driving on a road that connects the entire country coast to coast? and by consequence im connected to every single other person driving on it, everybody rushing home or to work, everybody setting off on a road trip, every trucker thats just doing their job and probably not thinking about it. Think of me next time ur on I-40 .......
Ok definitely check content warnings first because it centers around some very heavy material but it’s GREAT. It came out this year and was long listed for the National book award. The author is also a fantastic poet.
