i took an edible before seeing this and it was so fun. thereβs egg paintings, heartwarming moments, creepy personified craigslist, lots of cool visuals, filemaker pro. a rollercoaster of a movie. julio torres is amazing
This was perfect on all levels, dialogues and especially the monologues I can't even begin to describe how emotionally invested I was while watching, cried 5 times. I haven't seen Nocturnal Animals but I have to watch it next to see this kind of cinematography from Tom Ford again. The changes in saturation were timed in such a way that you just felt the scenes. Sad gays, the best genre of people ngl.
I really enjoyed Jacques Audiards A Prophet, which is about life in prison also Claire Denis' Beau Travail it was probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing movies I've seen and I highly recommend Lukas Dhonts Close, I can't even describe how devastating this film was, it's a Belgian film but they speak french so I'd say it counts, it's a must watch imoo.
