just watched for the first time and it’s def a new fav. carl reiner has such a specific directing style, his movies feel like cartoons that come to life - peoples body movements and noises are so over the top and playful. this is the first movie to make me laugh out loud in a while…
I don’t know if it fully counts as a Christmas movie, but I always watch it this time of year, so to me it’s like a winter/Christmas classic. Great characters, sweet plot, and really funny.
