An elite device in the kitchen and useful beyond fish. The thinness, combined with its long flared shape, helps you get under anything, no matter how delicate. If you’ve ever experienced the despair of your food tearing apart mid-flip, look no further.

Okay, if you follow Binging with Babish, you know the deal with these tiny whisks. I've finally gotten myself a few, and man.. they are a life changer. These are great for mixing things in small cups or bowls. Personally, they've been great for beating a couple of eggs.

I just watched “Face/Off” for the first time a few days ago and feel like I’ve filled a void in my life that I wasn’t even aware of. If you like a heavy dose of action in your comfort cinema, I highly recommend. Like most movies from the 90s, not everything has aged well but cast aside your modern judgments for a bit and just enjoy Nicolas Cage doing The Most. In a similar vein, see also: the OG “Point Break” with Keanu and Patrick Swayze

Long live the Notes app, but nothing beats just writing something down right as it pops into your head. To serve the sense of urgency at all times, one will inevitably collect a large and eclectic array of notebooks and notepads. I am considering getting one of those slates that scuba divers use to communicate underwater and keeping it in the shower.

Oftentimes, perfectionism prevents us from starting that project or taking that first step forward. We’re afraid the output is going to be crap. One thing that helps to take the pressure off is just making that your goal, or making the output bad on purpose. Getting started is the hard part. Go ahead and put yourself in the mindset of a hack. Chances are, you are better at whatever you’re trying to do than you think you are. Once you have a draft version, unless you truly DGAF, your brain will naturally motivate you to make gradual improvements until it’s something you can live with.
