An extremely dark and disturbing Spanish movie. Basically contains every awful thing you could imagine, and more, but with a Wes Anderson-style pastel colour palette. Also known as Skins in English, not to be confused with the TV show of the same name. Only recommended if you want something really fucked up. (The poster doesn't do it justice)

This movie is so damn disturbing showing anything horrific onscreen. Just hearing the audio from the snuff films that the characters watches sends chills up my spine. Juliette Gariepy is amazing as Kelly-Anne. You can definitely feel that something is very wrong with her even when her motives are noble. If you love serial killer/true crime movies especially movies by David Fincher, you should watch Red Rooms.

I could not think of a more poignant and more gut wrenching film. Big content warning for assault and other things if that is too much. The themes in it are handled very sensitive but it’ll still leave you devastated. Also my favorite Joseph Gordon-Levitt performance by far
