Stopp this is so perfect and so cute~ (T>◡<T) I'm making a gift box from colored paper for my friend is well! I didn't have a box to put the gifts in, so I always love making them instead. (I always follow a youtube tutorial lol) I'm gonna post the final (including the gifts) probably tomorrow

THOUGHTFUL/NICE GIFT WRAPPING
I remember when I was younger, beautiful gift wrapping was a massive thing - at department stores, for birthdays, special occasions, etc, and it really made the act of gifting feel so much more special... but feels like well thought out gifting is less common now.
I’ve been looking at some pics for inspo and particularly loving furoshiki (Japanese wrapping style using cloth)… just now waiting for a reason to wrap something nicely for someone!

i recently discovered i love gift giving. also discovered i love personalizing gifts even more. i sat in the park and painted this for my friend who is having a house colding party (he’s utilizing the rooftop one last time). this was completely free hand and so fun to make. i have a letter making kit i antiqued and i taped one inside. this truly is how i love, through creativity! i’ve never had anyone make a gift for me but i would love nothing more.

woke up at 530 and got on the train around 6. hate the early commutes but at the same time id rather be on a train with few people and leave work early so the pros outweigh the cons here
