this isn’t nyc but its pretty close (nj) but theres this one good record shop i enjoy going to a lot called jacks music shoppe. its in redbank and the whole town area is pretty cute and has nice antique and thrift shops as well
at least i remember these being cool :) & new hope is just across from lambertville (you can walk across the bridge) so they’re not far apart !! i’ve heard the area is a little less cute nowadays but there’s other shops and things so you should be able to easily spend a full day there
edit: embarassingly meant to say lambertville not frenchtown
This vintage store opened up my senior year of high school, and I was so excited for a cool thing to be in my hometown that I made everyone I know go. They have great used vinyl and lots of beautiful vintage decor for really cheap.
- remember life is bigger than i am; what may seem large to me is not
- with that being said, what may seem small to me is not that to everyone
- my existence is worth more than my perception of it is
- remembering the bigger picture helps me with remembering my worth
- wish I could timelapse myself sleeping and watch it. wish I could have a camera crew follow me around for a day and watch it after. wish I could see myself how other people saw me. wish to be known
totally getting bigger quickly but by far my favorite band. saw them at a small venue in Brooklyn last year and it was one of my favorite concerts ever
