My brother got me a new Star Wars inspired dice set for my new/first campaign I’m going to be running next year. It was the most thoughtful and personal gift I received this year
Star of the show is a leather tote my mom got me technically for my birthday, but it’s close enough to Christmas I’m gonna share it. I’m a big tote girlie but felt I needed something a little more leveled up. I use it for everything, it’s perfect. My favorite gift I gave was a special lamp for my husband. He’s really into painting miniatures but has just been using a lamp we’ve had around, so this was a big upgrade :)
I mentioned i liked their nice cube to my friend and then next time I came over I was gifted one in pink! this is better than a birthday present tbh. sometimes bday gifting is too much pressure and expectation. on another note stress ball while driving is much more tolerable so i’d like to recommend that practice as well.
Got gifted a copy of the Alchemist by @SALT today and not only did order it after me just mentioning that I wanted to read it, he also addressed it to KING Gabe Garcia. A little extra confidence to go with the book. whether I’m gifting a comic book to one of my nerdy friends or sending a dune box set to my buddy Mike after he watched the movies, sharing the things I love with people is my greatest joy
I just finished another play through of the first game, and I can’t wait to play it again. If anyone here hasn’t played the last of us yet you need to. Such a beautiful and conflicting story that I want everyone to experience.
