My pick for AOTY. Decadent industrial. This is what I live for! I adore listening to the instrumental tracks too when I write or work, they kind of function as smelling salts. The highlights for me are Sequoia Tide (with Yves Tumor on prod.. before it was on streaming I used to listen to it on his Kerwin Frost youtube channel set⊠so good), No Country and Marine Photosynthesis. Evanora Unlimitedâs one of my favorite lyricists, hell, MINDS ever (see the PI feature). For a project like Evanoraâs (ânot an artist alias but the title of an ever-changing, formless concept and cinematic world showcasing various charactersâ and an âerotic science fiction religious-horror epicâ) it feels befitting to also mention the visuals, check the video for No Country and read the pinned comment pour sĂ»r you wonât regret it.

All the tracks are gems, but one of the current standouts for me is track 5, âChromatiqueâ. It feels as if youâve landed on a different planet (maybe in a distant galaxy) in the middle of a sunset.

If you're a fan of hip hop music, sampling or great, world building and literary writing and culture; all of this beauty can be yours to discover. This album has perplexed me since I was 16 because there are samples I still cant find & I got to ask Geoff Emerick a lot more creative questions becuase of the rabbit hole of culture this album opened to me (track 4).
