Overstayed my welcome at FrostFest this summer just to catch his set (and hear this song in a crowded room..) Chainā is an absolute brain scratcher of a chune and should be played out of a moving car very fast.

i didnāt quite appreciate this song as much as i do now until seeing it performed as the closer to his live showā¦ such a great encapsulation of the feeling of years of life under very late capitalism weighing on you

I was at a friendās show the other night and they covered this song, which I thought existed only for me in a very specific context on a five-year-old playlist for the J train near my old apartment. Hearing it live, seemingly out of nowhere when I least expected it, turned my brain inside out. The repeated riff scratches an itch inside of there, particularly with that little bent note. I think I sometimes come off as a Dean Wareham project, if someone were to compare me to a sound. I hope itās this one.

Basically, costume makers around the world will custom make you a pair of specialty shoes designed to look like horse hooves. Iāve been mulling over a pair for years. Ideally, I would wear them out under a pair of pants, convincing strangers I was some half-satyr satan servant that got lost downtown. You can keep the ASICS, I wanna look like I'm from hell!

One of the best out. Iāve been obsessed with this guy for a minute and I know a lot of people feel similarly. Itās rare to see someone be a terrific dancer and make great music. He used to wear lots of Aeropostale and preppy mall brands, but after a trip to New York he seems to be embracing a more skater vibe with his outfits.
