This is basically a Halloween album -
the songs are haunted, aching, messy, and sometimes silly. It features a childrenâs choir, crooning, and whispers of a dying love, a beating heart, bones beneath your feet.
I listen every fall and, beyond that, this album is a piece of my musical identity. I didnât know you could break glass and stomp and let songs fall apart and have that all work on an album because when I first heard this I had mostly been listening to ska and blink 182.
âMy Bodyâs a Zombie For Youâ is a good one if you just want a taste check it out luv u byeee
My favorite undergroundish post punk band from Chicago. Itâs just a trio of teenagers and they fuckinâ rip. They have put out 2 EPs over the past couple of years that work great as an a-side/b-side, respectively.
"Get Up" puts the tape over my knuckles, it pushes me out the sheets, and gets me into my body. The whole album's sentiment is tender and raucous. Here to bump the band. If you're in NYC, I hope you'll try to see them in March.
every problem is expanded and simplified on the road simultaneously. rinsing and repeating the same formula grandpa did but plum full of carbonated beverages. Hes 90 now and âterribleâ. You will forever be with me.
