One thing I miss about no longer living in Illinois is that I can't go to Egg Harbor Cafe. It's a breakfast restaurant and I LOVE IT!! I still dream about their potatoes. Although Mariano's is a grocery store, their ice cream is delicious (specifically the strawberry one). Chinatown in Chicago is small but nice. Lots of little restaurants that smell delicious and probably taste as good. Not a food rec or anything but Illinois has the biggest corn maze in the world (it's at Richardson Farms). Loads of fun, I'd recommend going. I also love six flags. That's all I remember but have so much fun and I hope you discover lots of new places!

This time of year you really can’t go wrong with hanging out at any of the beaches or spending time in Lincoln Park. Get as much sunshine as possible! Hard to give just a few food recs but my faves now probably are Rose Mary, Mama Delia, and Armitage Ale House. For something quicker get tacos at La Pasadita or a hot dog or a burger at Red Hot Ranch. A lot of good thrifting/antiques on Grand Avenue in West Town if you’re into that, and then some awesome bookstores too are Myopic Books in Wicker Park and Open Books in Logan Square. The Robey Hotel is also an amazing place to grab drinks, now that it’s summer their pool bar will be open too! If that’s not your speed and you just want a good ol dive bar and cheap cans of beer, Rainbo Club is right down the road from there! Enjoy!

I love seeing the live site activity because it's like omg we're such different people all around the world who happen to be here at the same time. Like hi hello welcome to the app I can't wait to hear what you have to say. We're all just little ants and I think that's so cute. This is such a stupid thought but oh well maybe someone else feels this way.

I think we need to bring Box Tops back. One of my favorite parts of elementary school were the Box Tops competitions for a pizza party and I feel sad for the children who didn't get to experience that. Maybe there's an equivalent I don't know about (???) but I think Box Tops competitions are something every kid should get to experience.

Went to visit Colombia and saw these two beautiful cats outside. I don't know if these photos can even show how absolutely stunning they were. I like how beautiful cats are
