Why do companies add milk & eggs to things that don't need it!? They've changed the recipe of my favorite salad dressing to include egg protein (for why idk) so now I've had to buy the fat free version. I use this dressing to make my favorite comfort/safe food. I'm so worried that the fat free recipe will not taste the same or that they'll add egg to that one too. It sounds dramatic but my neurodivergent brain is not coping well with the idea of never being able to have this meal again. Why tf does Italian dressing need egg in it anyways???? Being vegan in a non-vegan world is so frustrating.

fun fact: I used to be a vegan. Although one of my favorite restaurants— this sweet & veeeery delicious family-owned Vietnamese spot— definitely has meat on the menu, I still order the vegan bowl pretty much every time I go back. One, because it slaps even harder than the regular pork one, and two… girl, you already know I’m sentimental. I find it oddly comforting that I can come back to a place that hasn’t changed at all in the same time that I went from being a freshman regular to seeing them again on doordash as I’m crafting a senior project that… literally revolves around change. #funny but not funny haha funny weird #liminal space #I’m kinda freaked out but this is mad tasty #I would add a picture but it’s already been demolished #rip baddie #ok bye #also I should make a post about hashtags #ok bye fr

Easily one of the most competent vegan executions of any food item. It's painless to work into your diet.

I AM NOT A VEGAN. I started looking for vegan blue cheese because every Saturday I watch UFC and bake whole chicken wings and devour them and my stomach cannot handle the enormous amount of regular blue cheese that I ingest. I bought this vegan blue cheese expecting it to suck but Oh My God. I have no idea how they did it but it tastes exactly like the real stuff. Now I indulge, guilt free pain free.

For me, it would be the idea that the home is meant to be your safe space & things happening to threaten that frightens everyone. We don't like the idea that our safety can be compromised; especially by something like the occult or ghostly which we can't understand.

Currently reading: 1. The Phoenix Empress - K. Arsenault Rivera. This is a re-read since I'm travelling & starting new books stresses me out when I travel. I love this series - you can't beat a lengthy fantasy/sapphic combo. 2. Welcome to Pawnee - Jim O'Heir. Not very far into this one yet but Parks & Rec is one of my favorite TV shows & to get an inside look into Pawnee & the production is interesting. It's like I'm meeting the characters & visiting Pawnee again for the first time.
