Hey! It's not the easiest read since it's a classic but I guarantee it's not boring at all. I recommend this book to every dramaqueen that tends to obsess over the unfairness in life and never stops whining about it๐Ÿฅฑ

One of the few good books to come out of booktok imo. Themes of queerness, betrayal, and discovering oneโ€™s identity, but without being too therapy speech-y if that makes sense. Just feels like a real person experiencing things, not an author trying to teach you lessons. Also, the DRAMA of it all just makes it endlessly readable to me.

because itโ€™s exquisite but even if itโ€™s not your thing, at least you will have read a timeless classic!

A very popular book, but if you havent read it yet... I recommend it. Devoured it in a few hours first time I read it. The way the characters view relationships is very in line with my own. To the point where since reading it I have a relationship with a similar dynamic since (don't know if I recommend that). The point of the book, to me, has always been to showcase the difference forms love can take on, even when the feelings are unchanging. Other than that Sally Rooney is just a really good writer, is tapped into interesting discourses which she weaves into her stories, and she knows how to make a character problematic in ways that feel relatable and honest instead of foreign or scary. + i just really like stories about 20-something-year-olds being themselves, figuring shit out without much plot holding it together. My best friend gave it a 1/5 stars on Goodreads bc she thought everyone was boring and whiny sooo like.. it's not for everyone maybe.

This film is one of a kind. The topic is heavy but it's made in such a unique way I couldn't breathe till the end not only because of the plot but also cause it's so unbelievably beautiful. I think everyone should watch it at least once in their life: first because it shines light on a real issue and second- it's breathtaking and it has one of the best paced storytelling in a film I've seen. Plus if you believe we need more colorists in modern cinema this film will be a nice surprise.
