I would say it was mostly a year of nostalgia for me. I watched more shows but I'm not done so I'm not counting those just yet. I'm more of a movie person, so finishing a show is a prowess for me. As you can see, it's mostly shows that are done, are short and/or have a few seasons. • Bob’s Burgers.
• Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
• Chernobyl.
• Fantasmas.
• Fleabag.
• H2O.
• Hacks.
• Heaven’s Gate-The Cult of Cults.
• MTV's Downtown.
• My Babysitter’s a Vampire.
• Regular show.
• Rick & Morty.
• Secrets of the Whales.
• The Bear.
• The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.
• The Undoing.
• Total Drama Island 2023.
Avatar: The Last Airbender- I didn't watch this until I was an adult and I think it’s one of the greatest shows ever made. Sharp Objects- the energy the story is so palpable. Holds up against the book too. The reveal 😩!!!
The Wire or Sopranos- I watched both when I was postpartum with my son and it’s hard to choose between the two. I just remember finishing each and thinking, “oh I get it now.”
New Girl- what can I say, I’m a millennial. Interesting observation; every single one of these shows I did not watch until years after they finished.
- malcom in the middle + monster high (to take a trip down memory lane)
- ted lasso + derry girls (heard a lot of good things about both)
- moving (will be a rewatch was so good and i need to experience it again) i think tbats about it can’t think of anything more tbh
