This year I recommended people to watch more movies. This year I've watched 336 movies, documenting them on a list. With the intention of not overwhelming you with a big ass post, I put all the movies in this document.
Inspired by Edgar Wright's Instagram lists, here's mine, because I love making lists and because I refuse to get a Letterboxd account when I can simply post it all here. Besides, I don't think I care for reviews. I do care however, for data (oh sexy data). In this link, you'll be able to see the statistics about the movies I watched in 2024, from the ones I watched for the first time vs. ones that were rewatches, to films separated by decade, to them being separated by genre, (this year I was a Y2K queen). It's like my own Spotify Wrapped but way more fun 'cause I did it myself and I actually care.

i decided to watch 101 movies this year. i kind of cheated and listed movies i’ve already seen but i‘m not doing that anymore. from now on i’ll limit myself to listing only one movie i’ve already seen per month.

2025 is this year of just doing things! idk why i always put off things and just “do it later”. I COULD JUST ,YOU KNOW, CRAAAAAZY IDEA, DO IT NOW? i have only rewatched 2 films this year (blth of which, are films i have only first this year!!) AAAAAND i feel great :) it’s so refreshing to consume new media for the sake of just trying something new, not for the sake of checking it off a list! SO try new things because it will 100% benefit you somehow
