I highly recommend pairing a specific perfume/cologne with a special event, travel or project.
It'll infuse the memories of the experience with the scent, and if you come across the notes in the scent in the future, you'll get a delicious, enveloping wave of nostalgia.

smell is such a powerful way to connect to memories. I like to have a perfume that I use in each place I live/go on a longer holiday to; after leaving the place, I keep the perfume and smell it whenever Iβm feeling nostalgic.
one perfume to one place to create a really strong connection.
for example, I got a cheap little cypressy perfume for a three week trip to greece and now I can just feel myself back there whenever I want. same thing for when I lived in denmark for a year, and different houses Iβve lived in in melbourne. really just so lovely

Do you ever smell a certain scent and it reminds you of a person, time, or place? For example, when I smell pink sugar it reminds me of the middle school locker room after walking the mile.
I love how a smell could be a bookmark in your life. So why not make it a beautiful scent that one day you will probably smell and think, βwhat was I thinking?β
Recently Iβve been into this perfume by Andrea Maack that smells like harvested potatoes in Iceland. Another one from room 1015 with interesting notes of carrot seeds, jasmine, and musk. Lastly, my most recent purchase is from Villa Erbatium and smells like the inside of a refrigerated flower shop - cut stems, cool air, cellophane wrapping and all.

i was gazing at a photo of my grandma and was thinking about how stylish she was, and how much i loved how she decorated.
i was combing through all the decor i could see in the photo and saw the wall tapestry, and a wave of nostalgia hit me.
i decided to try to find a similar one to hang in her honor.
per usual ebay was the jackpot
