Regan Penaluna's novel is a beautiful look at women in academia, philosophy, and modern life. She weaves stories of forgotten female philosophers with personal anecdotes of her time in academia, and I'm on a second read-through already.

This book blends conversation on feminism within the context of other social issues and gives insight into feminist philosophy whilst also serving as analysis for the dominant paradigms in feminist debate, such as which women are centered in the critique and analysis of gender, sexuality etc in society

I found a working lamp on the sidewalk and after a thorough clean I’m making a ā€lampshadeā€ with glass beads! I think I’ll use a ton more and get a softer bulb but how fun to experiment!

The best option is to do this with someone you hardly know but it's such a fun way to see how so many things are connected. Also gives you a lot of good pages to look back on later.
